For Stefani, cosmetics have never been just a pretty product on a shelf.
At the heart of MUSE is a curiosity about formulas, active ingredients and the question of how a product can truly make everyday care more effective.
That means combining innovative ingredients, looking for improvements, weighing up textures, formats and ways of application - and not accepting the first solution just because it is easier.
The first two versions of our SPF formula, for example, met our technical requirements. But on the skin they didn't deliver the feel and the effect we were looking for. So we went back to the start and developed the formula again.
This is how MUSE still develops today - from a specific need or idea to a product with a clear purpose and a place in your everyday life.
