I feel like it's only been in the last few years that people have started to talk about the importance of sunscreen and its mandatory daily use. To be honest, we used to only apply sunscreen at the beach and no one told us that we had to wear it every day, even on cloudy days.
However, now this information is clear to everyone and excuses are not accepted! If you are still one of those who still have something to say on the subject, here is why you are wrong:
1. "I work from home." Working from home doesn't mean you have to skip sunscreen, especially if you're near a window, have a dog to walk, or have to run to the store. Just take 30 seconds and apply it so you don't have to think about it if you have to go out.
2. "My skin gets oily and sticky." This is because you're not using the right product. The market is flooded with sunscreens and it's a fact that most of them leave a sticky feeling on the skin. But that doesn't mean you should skip this step. We guarantee you that there is a cream with SPF50+ that you won't even notice you're wearing. 😉
3. "It leaves a white cast, it prevents me from applying makeup." I'll say it again: you're not using the right product. It's often said that mineral SPFs leave a cast and chemical SPFs don't, but that's not entirely true. There are formulas like ours that don't leave a white cast and absorb instantly!
4. "They keep coming up with new things to get us to buy and use more products." The fact is, there are a lot of unnecessary products advertised as "must-haves." Sunscreen, however, is not one of them. If you want, remove all other products but leave this one on and your skin will definitely stay younger and healthier!
Do you recognize yourself in any of these excuses? Don't worry, I won't betray you, but I hope I've convinced you that applying sunscreen is an absolute must every day! Even using it alone makes a huge difference to your skin and how it will look in a few years.
